London Magician - Post Code Issues

On Saturday I was booked as the Children's Entertainer for a Children's Party up in Hayes. It was at Hayes Cricket Club. I knew there were various issues on route - Hammersmith Flyover was (and still is closed) as well as various delays so tried to make sure I left in plenty of good time

I first hit traffic in Tooting (Wandsworth) along Trinity Road and then again in Fulham as there was a football match. Made it up to the A40 to avoid the Flyover and arrived with 10 mins to spare. However no cricket ground in sight. Asked about five sets of people who had never heard of the place. As a post code gets my Sat Nav to within a few hundred yards I thought this to be a bit odd so called up the parents of the Birthday Child. They gave me two crossing roads and when I put this into the Sat Nav it was almost three miles away. I then had to go back the way I came and eventually made it to Hayes Cricket Ground five minutes late. As much as we rely on Technology there is still room for human error!!!

I explained but they had got the postcode from the website and it must have been wrong. The party was great and a mixture of all ages which made the younger kids more confident and the adults around the room got involved as well.

Started my Magic Club back in Dulwich today with a basically new group of enthusiastic kids all wanting to show me their magic tricks which they know but also keen to learn new magic tricks as well.
